Born and raised in Miami, Florida, I recall gravitating toward color and texture from a very young age. Art became a vital means of expression, communication and a powerful tool to process my emotions. Through creativity I could reimagine my world in a colorful and whimsical way that brought me a deep sense of happiness and purpose. I describe myself as a lifelong creative and a self-taught artist whose work employs a combination of collage and acrylic painting with color and texture an integral part of my signature style.

The relationship between artistic elements and mood have always been a driver for my colorful and positive imagery. I view my art practice as a creative journey and rely heavily on the ability of color and the act of creating art to see me through new challenges. It is my ultimate goal that the viewer will internalize that positive energy as well. My creative process combines the logic of piecing together collage materials with the freedom of intuition as a guide. The application of paper, paint and other mediums allows me to achieve a textural and tactile experience, with color serving to evoke positive feelings and emotions.
