Rose Marjanneke Williamson
Rose Marjanneke Williamson (b. 2002) is an emerging queer woman artist born in Long Island, NY and raised in Dunedin, FL. Currently she resides in Sarasota, FL after acquiring her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fine Arts from Ringling College of Art and Design in May 2024. Rose has received several awards including a College Book Art Association Grant, Ringling College’s Avant-Garde Semi-Finalist Award, and Best of Ringling's President's Choice Award. Additionally, Rose recently served as Gallery Director for Crossley Gallery where she has curated highly acclaimed exhibitions. This summer, Rose was awarded a fully funded scholarship by Chautauqua Visual Arts to complete a 6-week residency at Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, NY.
