Nancy Hielscher

Nancy Hielscher has been a resident of Sarasota since 1979. She graduated from the American Academy of Art-Chicago and has continued her studies at Ringling College of Art and Design. She is currently a member of Petticoat Painters, Women Contemporary Artists, and Art Center Sarasota.

As a studio artist, she finds her artistic voice mainly through oil painting, particularly in the realm of impactful still-life images and lush foliage. However, she is not afraid to venture into uncharted territories and explore acrylics, and mixed media on newsprint, pushing the boundaries of her creativity.
