Jared Robison

Robison is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice integrates performance, sound, and video installation to explore the intricate relationships between time, space, and awareness. He holds an MFA in 3D + Extended Media from the University of Arizona and a BFA in Digital Media and Painting from Slippery Rock University. Robison's artistic journey is deeply rooted in his dedication to exploring the history of art, science, and language by examining emerging technologies across contemporary thought. He is particularly interested in how art can foster a deeper sense of presence in a world of (dis)information, posing the question: How does one mindfully contemplate the infinite while living in the present? He has completed residencies at Andrea Zittel's AZ-West and with the Guggenheim Fellows, Bridgman|Packer Dance. Robison has exhibited his work nationally and internationally. Currently residing in Sarasota, FL, Robison continues to push the boundaries of interdisciplinary art, constantly seeking new ways to engage audiences and provoke thought through his innovative creations.
