Don Brandes

Don Brandes received his BFA from University of Missouri, Columbia and his MA from Syracuse University, New York. He began his career as an illustrator for Hallmark Cards. He has taught at Kansas City Art Institute, was an MFA Thesis Adviser for Academy of Art College, San Francisco and has taught at Ringling College of Art and Design since 1998. Dons' freelance work includes editorial and historical illustration. He was Selected as Public Artist for Bradenton FL, Riverwalk, Pittsburg Pirates Spring Training Facilities and as Public Artist for The National Cemetery by the Patterson Foundation.
