christina antoniou
Christina Antoniou, born in Boston Massachusetts, received her Bachelor of Arts from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2024 as a Trustee Scholar. Her works in painting and ceramics examine the layered relationships between people and the spaces they inhabit. Her process is rooted in capturing subtle moments that reveal how place and memory intertwine in shaping our inner landscapes.
This ceramic series is inspired by the concepts of eudaimonia and biophilia. By integrating organic marine elements, these sculpture explore the connection between our nature and the natural world. Rooted in the Greek origins of these terms—eudaimonia, meaning human flourishing, and biophilia, our instinctive bond with life—the work reflects the harmony between humans and the natural world.
